Tuition Rates & Assistance
It is our privilege to provide an exceptional Christian education at Portland Adventist Elementary School. Our operating budget is based on the support of three primary sources: The Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, 12 constituent (local) churches and annual tuition. Subsidies keep tuition as low as possible. See Tuition Assistance (below) for need-based aid. We are a non-profit organization.
We understand the expense of a high-quality, Christian education can be a hardship. PAES offers financial support to families needing assistance. We partner with FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment for all giving considerations. We also strongly urge family support.
FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment
Apply online at: https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4BS0G
We request FACTS Assessments be completed no later than June 1st, prior to the next school year. We encourage early submission as we can only apply the funds to the needs we know. The later the submission, the less aid we will have available.
Every Child Deserves to Know Christ Grant
This grant is available to incoming Kindergarten and 1st grade students as an introduction to Seventh-Day Adventist education. If previously enrolled, the grant can be re-applied for as part of the student’s continuing education. Grant requirements include: FACTS submission, SDA church participation, school participation and family commitment.
Church Student Aid
Seventh-day Adventist churches are faithful supporters of our schools. At each churches discretion, attendance, grades and current school payments may be requirements of assistance. Contact your church pastor or educational representative to see if your family is eligible for student aid. Community members, your church may also offer financial assistance opportunities, we encourage you to inquire.
