Portland Adventist Elementary School has embraced technology as a tool.

Every teacher and every child from grades 1-8 are taught how to use technology as they would a pencil or paper.

We have been recognized for achievements by Intel and the international education community.

We have approximately 165 PCs on campus. We have a lab with 30 computers, SmartBoard and LCD projector. Each classroom has 6+ student computers as well as a teacher workstation. The teacher workstation is connected to a TV in order to display information from the Internet or to showcase a child’s project.

We have four servers. One is responsible for managing our Internet and email. The other stores our files. Every computer is tied into our servers via thousands of feet of CAT-5 cable.

We use a content filter that blocks offensive websites. We use active supervision to monitor what our children are doing at all times.

If you would like a tour contact our office to set up an appointment.
