Library Classes will be held on Wednesday with Mrs. Stinson. Please remind your child to return their books on that day. Lunch: Monday friend lunch, Tuesday Movie lunch, Wednesday group lunch, Thursday Movie lunch and Friday Show and Tell Lunch. Lunch Bunch: Fourth graders will listen to a story read by Mrs. Stinson in the library three times a week during lunch. Music Classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday P.E. Classes are held on Monday & Wednesday Choir Friday ArtMrs. Gainer will teach a 45-minute art class every other Friday during the school year. Computer Class: Monday – Thursday. GradesStudents should make it a goal to take unfinished assignments home daily and returned them the following day. However, all assignments are due within the week they were assigned and are considered late if they extend into the following week. Ten percent will be deducted for every day that follows the week in which the assignment was due. If your child is sick, or on vacation, assignments are to be completed, and are due one week following their absence. Most make up assignments for extended absences will need to be completed upon students return. The difficulty with giving students work in advance is to knowing exactly how long it will take for their classmates to learn and complete the information. This can result in the individual being ahead of the class upon their return or vice versa.

You should review your child’s corrected papers to see how your child is progressing, and if they are getting their weekly assignments turned in. Doing this will help you stay aware of your child’s progress and will alert you to areas of concern. Letter grades will be given at mid-term and at the end of each quarter.
