Welcome to the PAES Language Arts Department. This year we will be focusing on writing and speaking. First quarter the seventh grade will be studying about literature of the middle ages. The students will have a chance to write skits to portray different aspects of Medieval Life. Eighth grade will focus on the civil war—writing an extensive journal using the research they glean in both Language Arts class and Social Studies class. We also will be reading all sorts of books and plays, writing in journals and learning parts of speech. Remember the importance of turning in all assignments on time and coming prepared to class. |
