PAES is committed to a wide variety of group and individual musical opportunities for our children.
Students in grades 1-4 receive music instruction twice a week. In addition, students in grades 3-8 are required to join at least one performing group (3/4 choir, 5/6 choir, beginning band, intermediate band, advanced band, or 7/8 choir) each academic year. These groups have performances outside school hours. Since the success of each group depends on all members, each performance is required. If family plans prevent participation in a scheduled performance (including weekend church performances) advance arrangements must be made. The school will announce the dates as far in advance as possible, usually giving four weeks notice.
