What is A Seventh-day Adventist?

Seventh-day Adventists are Bible-believing Christians who base their faith, hope and future in Jesus Christ and His soon return.

They believe:

·         A trinity of three Persons…the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit make up one God.

·         They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will.

·         They believe victory was won for mankind when Jesus was crucified for our sins and arose from the dead on the 3rd day.

·         Seventh-day Adventists believe Jesus Christ returned to heaven following the resurrection.  He promised to return to earth a second time and complete His plan of Salvation by taking His children home to heaven.

·         Adventists are among the believers of Christendom who look forward to that day.

·         Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church believe God is concerned with our quality of life. How we live, speak, think, treat our families and others, and care for the world around us is all important to Him.

·         Seventh-day Adventists honor the seventh day of the week as Sabbath.  It is a memorial to His completed creative work. Every Saturday Adventists enjoy a 24-hour Sabbath rest from work and school to join family and fellow believers in worship, fellowship, prayer, and communion with God.
